Heart on a String is a Melbourne based business creating custom designed and handmade decor and accessories. Most pieces are made to order based on customer specifications. Each piece is created with the same love and care as it would receive if it was being made for ourselves.

How long will my order take?
Most pieces have a turn around of 2-4 weeks due to items being custom made and to account for paint to dry properly, some can be made sooner however. Depending on your location, delivery could take up to 5-7 business days; currently due to COVID19 we are experiencing longer than normal delays with post. We ship with Australia Post and cannot guarantee the reliability of their service!
Can I order different quotes?
Yes. If you have a certain quote in mind, please don’t hesitate to contact us for a custom product.
What are your products made of?
Most Heart on a String pieces are created with a wood base which is then decorated with custom designed adhesive vinyl. Some of our speciality products i.e. for Christmas, are made with fabrics.
Do you do any markets?
At the moment due to COVID19 we are unfortunately not doing markets. In the future we are hoping to join with the Wallan Olde Time Market.
My order arrived broken!
All items are shipped with Australia Post with registered post and insurance. Please contact us to discuss organising a replacement as AusPost requires the customer to return the item to them for assessment.
Do you offer refunds?
Not for personalised and custom pieces, maybe for other pieces. We do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind.
